Yellow pigment approved for food contact

Regulations on food contact are becoming increasingly restrictive. However, at Comindex, S.A. we present you with a pigment with great properties and which is approved under the FDA Food Contact regulations for polymers.

The pigment DCC Yellow 1462F (PY.62) is a medium yellow and is primarily intended for use with polyolefins, PVC and some engineering polymers. In addition, it has excellent dispersion properties, high resistance to temperature, has no impact on the shrinkage of plastics and is an excellent heavy metal-free alternative. Its main application is food packaging and, due to its excellent dispersion, it is suitable for the production of films.

In short, this pigment manufactured by Dominion Colour Corporation complies with the FDA regulations for food contact while maintaining its high performance.
