This new polyol ALBODUR® 1055 distributed by Comindex, can be used to formulate a UV-stable PU system when crosslinked with an aliphatic isocyanate (>1.000 hours QUV A exposition). In addition, the binder is very hydrophobic and an extremely pale appearance both the neat resin and also when combined with a low viscosity isocyanate.

Thanks to the polymer structure, ALBODUR® 1055 based on caster oil, it is possible to reduce the isocyanate demand of the total system without compromising basic features like good workability, broad versatility and compatibility profile, as well as excellent mechanical properties needed for the applications it may be used.

ALBODUR® 1055 can be used to formulate systems applicable in a thin layer as finishing systems as well as to formulate thicker systems for self-levelling flooring.
