These bacteria are supplied in a dormant state, in the form of inactive spores, which are activated on contact with the food source, which is the organic material that creates the soiling. They will continue to reproduce and grow until they die due to a lack of food source. Their effect is not immediate; however, they do have long-lasting activity compared to other cleaning products.

Furthermore, their small size allows them to reach deep and inaccessible areas, achieving a more thorough clean than traditional detergents.
