Statement by Finma to the UN Sustainable Development Goals

As an ISO-certified company, Finma has an internal environmental and energy management system. Since 2019, we have an employee specifically as an officer for the integrated management system. He is mainly responsible for the planning and implementation of our company's environmental policy.

Finma adopts several specific actions to its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

	Fair wages, well above the regulatory minimum wage			Wherever possible, and in the case of new products, we take care to find renewable raw materials that do not compete for land with food agriculture
	Occupational safety and workplace health Attention is paid to a good work-life balance for our employees In-house health system Regular Safety trainings			In-house trainings and focus on inter-department communication We offer internships for job starters
	We avoid the use of substances hazardous to water as far as possible. When handling and disposing of these substances, we comply with the applicable regulations and are in direct contact with the responsible authorities			We record energy indicators based on ISO 50001 and is constantly trying to improve them, e.g. by taking energy efficiency into account when making new purchases
	Purchasing raw materials that have been produced without humane working conditions and without child labor. Working mainly together with Iso-certified companies			Continuous modernization and digitalization Increasing development of products based on renewable raw materials Implementation of a new company building with highly efficient logistic infrastructure
	Implementation of a new company building with better energy efficiency Teleworking whenever possible to reduce pollution by travels We supply our employees with glass bottles of water from a local company			Reduce waste and use reusable and easily recyclable packaging Disposal in accordance with current regulations
