The safest cross-linkers and anti-hydrolysis agents on the market

What are carbodiimides

Carbodiimides are organic compounds that include the following functional group:

[– N = C = N –]

The carbodiimide group reacts with carboxylic acid groups, allowing cross-linking with resins containing these functional groups. Some examples include polyurethane dispersions, acrylic emulsions and water-dispersible polyesters.

They are safe, sustainable cross-linkers that can be dispersed in water and do not add VOCs to the formulation.
