Over the past few months, cleaning and sanitation have been highly important in keeping our homes and workplaces COVID-19-free. However, excess use of cleaning products can damage surfaces, causing them to deteriorate over time. Therefore, Comindex recommends Alberdingk Boley’s resins owing to their excellent chemical resistance. This will enable you to keep your home safe and sanitised whilst ensuring surfaces are not impaired as a result.

We wish to highlight the following dispersions in view of the advantages they offer:
 

  • AC 2025: this self-crosslinking acrylic dispersion is perfect for easy-to-formulate, solvent-free wall paints due to its excellent adhesion to different surfaces. In addition, it delivers great stain and scrub resistance, as well as disinfectant resistance. Accordingly, it is an excellent option to use in healthcare settings such as hospitals.
  • AC 2742 (primer) + AC 2765 (topcoat): use of resin AC 2742 as a primer creates a perfect water barrier and, at the same time, delivers excellent chemical and stain resistance. Using AC 2765 as a topcoat steps up the system, boosting resistance and, if desired, securing pigmented lacquers due to excellent pigment dispersion. The topcoat also meets IKEA R0 and R2 standards, making it perfect for furniture coatings with superior chemical resistance.
