As the use of epoxy resins is widespread, it is important to know their background and characteristics in order to correctly formulate the end products.

An epoxy resin contains at least 2 oxirane rings in its structure. Following the reaction with the curing agent, we obtain a thermostable polymer with different properties (high chemical and mechanical resistance, electrical insulation and high adhesion to many surfaces).

Using an optimal curing agent is important, as in the majority of cases its structure is incorporated in the final thermostable polymer, affecting its final properties (chemical resistance, appearance, lifespan, etc.).
