Over the years, one of the concerns of employers has been to improve working conditions for their employees. One of the various possibilities for achieving this goal is reducing the toxicity and the health risk of the products handled.

That is why at Comindex, S.A. we propose the opportunity of introducing bio-solvents as substitutes for conventional organic solvents, which as alternatives are safer, more sustainable and less dangerous for the environment.

The company GALACTIC produces bio-solvents derived from lactic acid (lactic acid esters) that may be considered safer in comparison with more traditional solvents such as acetone or ethyl acetate by incorporating fewer pictograms in their safety data sheets.

In relation to the environment they are biodegradable solvents, as they come, in part, from lactic acid via fermentation of sugar or corn glucose and are therefore sustainable.

In short, the GALACTIC bio-solvents are a safe and environmentally friendly alternative that provides a less toxic working environment.
