Now you can formulate coatings and varnishes with high chemical and abrasion resistance using the Comindex range of water-borne resins.

Comindex is offering the SiliXan W range of resins that are suitable for formulating coatings with optimal rust-resistance properties, enhanced abrasion resistance and chemical resistance in transparent varnishes and pigmented coatings.

Silixan Wresins are manufactured by our principal Silixan GmbH and they are binders based on (bisphenol-free) epoxy-modified silica particles. They can be used alone or in combination with epoxy, polyurethane or melamine-based systems, they offer enhanced adherence and rust protection on aluminium and steel.

SILIXAN GmbH, with headquarters in Germany, develops optimal quality resins for formulating paints, coatings and lacquers, offering excellent scratch, temperature and weather resistance, among other properties.

They currently market their products in Europe, Asia and North America through an extensive network of distributors and partners. Comindex is their official exclusive distributor for Spain and Portugal.
