At Comindex we have always been committed to being environmentally friendly and contributing to the conservation of the environment. For this reason, we would like to draw your attention to the photocatalytic additive ADINSClean and its function in reducing atmospheric pollution.

This additive is based on a functionalised sepiolite with photocatalytic TiO2 that allows the degradation of surface organic material thanks to the action of sunlight (UV). Its photocatalytic activity is greater than that of similar additives, thanks to the synthesis of the TiO2 nanoparticles on the structure of the sepiolite. This facilitates its subsequent dispersion, thus avoiding the build-up of titanium dioxide and therefore increasing its contact surface.

The degradation of atmospheric pollution (VOCs and nitrogen oxides) to non-polluting substances thanks to the photocatalytic action of the additive ADINSClean can be achieved in numerous applications:

Paints and coatings for facades
Mortars
Concrete
Asphalts

In conclusion, the incorporation of this photocatalytic additive into different formulations of construction materials or facade coatings makes it possible to reduce the atmospheric pollution and the environmental impact that mankind generates on Earth.
