Gloss effects: an appealing fashion

Effect pigments help to draw a buyer’s attention because they produce appealing, striking finishes. Comindex recommends Ruicheng’s range of pigments for effects ranging from pearl lustre to a gloss or glitter-style shimmer effect.

These pigments can be easily incorporated into packages. After introducing the effect pigment along with the polymer – PE, PP, PS, PVC, PET or ABS – we are able to process it using a number of techniques – extrusion, co-extrusion, injection moulding and blow moulding – in order to obtain a package bearing the desired striking effect as our end product.

Comindex distributes the following broad range:

KW – natural mica-based
KW Crystal – synthetic mica
DiamonDream – glass flakes
Bold – high glosses and highly pure whites

There are numerous grades that meet all food contact regulations (FDA), meaning they may be used in a large number of applications – cosmetics and food product packaging, body care product packaging, bottles and lids for beverages, toys, fitness equipment, etc.
