Corrosion inhibitors for lubricants, temporary protection, cleaning products and hydraulic and cooling fluids from Laboratoires LABEMA

Since 1989, French firm Laboratoires LABEMA has been developing and producing corrosion inhibitor additives for the worldwide paint and varnish industry (anti-flash rust additives) and for manufacturers of lubricants, temporary protection, detergents, cooling systems and special fuels.
 
In the latter fields, LABEMA offers the following products:
 
A) Metalworking fluids (MWFs): ready for use products (1-2%) or 10% concentrates.
  • EMADOX® BBA v2: iron, aluminium and particularly recommended for steel.
  • EMADOX® BBC v2: iron, aluminium and particularly recommended for copper.
B) Temporary protection:
  • VEGERUST® LR-v: synthesised from renewable materials (castor oil), highly efficient in solutions and emulsions (parts protected from the weather).
  • c) Detergents:
  • EMADOX® D525: for water-based products.
  • EMADOX® BBA v2: for alcohol-based products.
  • AB RUST® HSA: new OAT (Organic Acid) technology. Multi-metal protection for neutral or alkaline detergents up to pH=11, VOC free, amine free, nitrite free, phosphate free, borate free and silicate free. Not for use in acids.
  • VEGERUST®OAT: new OAT technology, 100% organic compounds (44% from renewable materials), multi-metal protection for neutral or alkaline detergents.
  • EMADOX® NC-AL: authorised for cleaning products for materials in contact with food.
  • EMADOX® SAc and EMADOX® WAc: corrosion inhibitors for strong and weak acids.
  • Ab RUST® AB 14: corrosion inhibitor for alkaline solutions.
  • EMADOX® NE 6040: solution for aerosols, contains nitroparaffine for corrosion inhibition.
D) Hydraulic and cooling fluids:
  • EMADOX® BBA v2 and EMADOX® BBC v2: hydraulic tests, pressurised water systems, sprinklers and cooling and heating circuit protection.
  • AB RUST® HSA: an alternative to EMADOX® BBA v2 and EMADOX® BBC v2, VOC free, amine free, nitrite free, phosphate free, borate free and silicate free. Not for use in acids.
  • VEGERUST®OAT: multi-metal protection for cooling circuits, product 44% derived from renewable materials and OAT technology.
  • EMADOX® AFC: for anti-freeze and coolant, VOC free, amine free, nitrite free, phosphate free, borate free and silicate free. Meets the requirements of standards NF R-15602-7 and BS 6580.
  • e) Special products:
  • EMADOX® 301: volatile corrosion inhibitor, contains an amine and an oxygenated solvent with high vapour pressure to carry the active materials into the vapour phase.
  • EMADOX® S127: used for temporary protection of zinc covered steel sheets.
  • EMADOX® 401: rust remover, liquid or gel descaling (EMADOX® 401G).
