The increasing demand for matt finishes with a very low level of gloss and a natural appearance leads us to introduce you to our range of matting silicas.

The silicas from our represented company Lingwe are ideal for obtaining these finishes in a multitude of sectors – coatings for wood, industrial paints, coil coatings, plastics, inks, textiles, leather, etc.

One of our recommendations is the TSA range of products, achieved via wet processing using gel technology.

In addition to high matting power, thanks to the increased pore size of the silica achieved by the alkaline treatment applied at the end of its synthesis, the matting silicas in this range possess the following characteristics:

Low oil absorption
Easy incorporation in the formulation

We also have a special range for aqueous systems called TSA-W. In addition to maintaining the good properties mentioned above, this range provides excellent dispersion in these systems.

One of the limitations of matting silicas is the possibility of sedimentation. To avoid this, Lingwe has developed the TSA-L range of products. Due to the surface treatment that is applied, based on oxidised PE waxes, we achieve not only an improvement in anti-sedimentation properties, but also an enhancement in the feel of the formulations.
