Claims due to failure to comply with product quality specifications are commonplace. Moreover, it is hard to prove that products have not been tampered with or to demonstrate they are in fact the correct ones that have ultimately been applied to or incorporated into the end product.

In order to safeguard your business from these situations, Comindex is presenting Olnica’s security taggants. These taggants are incorporated into a range of products (paints, plastics, inks, textiles, etc.) thanks to their excellent properties:

Stable at high temperatures (450ºC)
Stable at pH between 3 and 14
No colour or opacity due to their small particle size

Available with different levels of security, they adapt to the needs of every client:

IDENTITY: The simplest level of security. This additive is detected using a special UV lamp with a specific wavelength, different to other standard UV lamps.
AUTHENTICITY: It allows the authenticity of the product to be determined using electronic devices. The security taggant is therefore detected from any location with a suitable portable device.
INTEGRITY: The best solution to track your product throughout the entire value chain until final delivery. Through a quantitative analysis carried out with a spectrometer, you can check the concentration of the additive. In this way, you are able to control the correct use of your product.
GUARDIAN: The most robust anti-fraud solution that uses forensic technology where every security taggant is unique.

Also, in some cases different techniques can be combined to achieve a higher level of security.
