Do you want to reduce costs and improve the properties of your thermoplastic formulations?

Comindex distributes the different grades of the Torogips CaSO4 anhydrite functional filler. Its use as a partial substitute for TiO2 allows costs to be reduced without modifying properties such as whiteness or opacity. Furthermore, it improves various properties of your formulation, providing added value.

Application areas:
 

  • Biopolymers (PBAT and PLA): TiEx-R04 is a natural and very high purity functional filler. It improves properties such as rigidity, impact resistance, thermal stability and nucleation. This transforms biopolymers into an excellent biodegradable alternative to polyolefins (LDPE, HDPE, PP).
  • White PO masterbatches: In this case, the use of TiEx-R04 as a partial substitute for TiO2 also allows maintenance costs to be reduced due to its low abrasion on equipment.
  • PA6 composites: FIL 04 is the functional filler for this application. Its use improves mechanical properties, nucleation, and dimensional and thermal stability. It allows production and maintenance costs to be reduced.

Both TiEX-R04 and FIL 04 can be used for food contact applications.
