We continue to expand our portfolio of represented companies at Comindex, S.A. Allow us to introduce BBA Ecotech, a company that manufactures probiotic concentrates for cleaning products.

Their products aim to remove dirt and contamination by using bacteria. Although we generally associate bacteria with diseases, these are not pathogenic and as a result they are not dangerous and do not require labelling.

These bacteria work by feeding on the dirt. In order to do this, the specific enzymes that they produce break down organic material such as oils, fats, proteins, carbohydrates, etc.

The bacteria are supplied in a dormant state and become active when they come into contact with the food source. They continue to reproduce and grow until they die when their food source runs out. As a result, they do not have an immediate effect, although their effect is long-lasting when compared with other cleaning products.
