New superhydrophobic dispersion for corrosion protection

Comindex distributes a new acrylic dispersion with anti-corrosive properties: Alberdingk AC 2420.

High hydrophobicity and excellent adhesion to metal are among its foremost properties, especially on steel and galvanised substrates, as well as on different plastics.

Coatings formulated with Alberdingk AC 2420 offer the best protection against corrosion due to high water resistance and barrier properties against water vapor.

Additionally, it forms a film with anti-blocking properties.

Alberdingk Boley is a German company with more than 190 years of history. It specialises in the development and production of acrylic, polyurethane and hybrid dispersions, polyols for 2K-PUR and plant oils (castor oil, linseed oil and derivatives). It has various factories in Germany, as well as in the USA and China.
